No artist is eligible for more than one award.

The Juror


Dave Smothers, art curator at the Tim Murphy Art Gallery, Merriam, Kansas. Dave has curated over 87 shows, including eight National Juried Heartland Art Shows and nine high school art competitions. He is a University of Iowa graduate.



Artists age 18 and over are eligible to enter the exhibition.

Art work accepted into any of Images’ past juried shows is not eligible for this show.


Media & Specifications


  • Works in acrylic, oil, water media, pastel, drawing, original print-making, mixed-media, photography, digital art, fiber, sculpture, jewelry and ceramics are eligible.

  • All artwork must be for sale.


October 27: Entry form submissions due.

November 16: Notice of acceptance posted on website and acceptance emailed to artists.

December 18th: Virtual Show opens.

January 17th: Virtual Show closes.


How to Enter

Complete the online Entry Form, upload your digital files, and pay through PayPal or credit card. 


All entry forms must be accompanied with payment and digital images. No entries will be considered without payment.

Digital Files

Submission of digital files must accompany your entry form and payment. File names should match the original artwork title on the entry form.

Digital files must be in JPG format with longest dimension no more than 1700 pixels and no larger than 5MB.  


Entry fees are non-refundable.

Up to five entries per artist.

  • $30 for one to three entries

  • $45 for four to five entries

Fee payment does not guarantee entry into the show.

Artists receive 70% on any piece sold. No change to prices stated on entry form is permitted.
