Preston McCall

Preston McCall is a seasoned artist with over 60 years of experience, known for his diverse body of work that explores landscapes, photo-real paintings of vintage automobiles, exotic figurative narratives, and florals. He earned his BFA in Painting, Drawing, and Art History from the University of Kansas in 1973 and pursued graduate studies in Architecture. Throughout his career, McCall has maintained a prolific studio practice, producing over 1,500 paintings, with more than 1,200 sold to collectors.

McCall’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to own and operate three galleries in Santa Fe, New Mexico, including McCall Fine Art and Paxton & McCall, Inc. His contributions to the field extend beyond the canvas with over 325 art history videos on YouTube and more than 4,000 showroom window paintings. Now retired in Overland Park, he continues to paint and stay active in art markets, sharing his lifelong passion for visual storytelling.
