Bio
Beth Arnold is a contemporary figurative artist whose work centers on compositions of women inspired by the Victorian era. Working primarily in watercolor and pencil, she blends realism with softness, creating timeless images that feel both historical and deeply personal.
Arnold was the winner of the Thomas Hart Benton Art Scholarship in 2006 and studied abroad in Europe for 5 weeks with a focus on Art History and Photography. She attended Missouri Southern State University, using part of that time to focus on art. Arnold began her creative practice working in pencil and has evolved through watercolor, creating evocative, narrative-driven pieces that honor feminine strength, vulnerability, and timeless beauty.
