Full Member

• Membership dues $180 a quarter or $720 annually.

• Commission rate on gallery sales is 70% to the artist, 30% to the gallery.

• 2D work is assigned a wall location, rotated quarterly.

• 3D work gets a glass kiosk.

• 2D artists can have a print bin along their wall.

• Any artist can display cards in the card racks.

• The option to be a featured artist once a year. Display work on one of the two front walls and a 3rd Friday opening reception.

• Work two shifts (typically 3 and 1/2 hours a shift) per month and three 3rd Friday openings a year.

 

Non-Working Member

• Membership dues $100 a month, $300 a quarter or $1200 annually.

• Commission rate on gallery sales is 70% to the artist, 30% to the gallery.

• 2D work is assigned a wall location, rotated quarterly.

• 3D work gets a glass kiosk.

• 2D artists can have a print bin along their wall.

• Any artist can display cards in the card racks.

• The option to be a featured artist once a year. Display work on one of the two front walls and a 3rd Friday opening reception.

90-Day Contract Member

• Membership dues $90 a quarter. Can be renewed multiple times. 

• Commission rate on gallery sales is 60% to the artist, 40% to the gallery.

• 3D work gets a one-half of a glass kiosk, 2D gets 1/2 of a full artist wall space.

• No featured artist option.

• No gallery work shifts.

Featured Artist Space Rental ~ No membership required!

• Available as space allows.

• Rent one or more of the gallery walls for a one-month display.

• Commission rate on gallery sales is 70% to the artist, 30% to the gallery.

• Artist provides 3rd Friday reception food and drink.

• Inquire at the gallery for more details.

​​All membership categories receive a discount on the annual Juried Show entry fee, free open studio attendance, and a discount on workshops and painting parties.

FAQs

What are the benefits of joining the gallery?

Co-ops like Images give artists who are early in their careers a way to get exposure. Profit is important, but we value community and as a member you have access to a supportive community and a network of local artists.

What if I'm an established artist?

You may be an established artist, and membership in Images can be a way to supplement your sales and to interact with your collectors. Images provides an attractive, easily accessible space to have your work on display, plus your work can be highlighted in a Featured Artist exhibition.

What does the gallery expect from members?

Our success depends on engaged members who staff and manage the gallery. As a co-op non-profit we count on our volunteer members who show up and participate.  In addition to working in the gallery there are a variety of ways to be involved. Members may work on the shows, teach classes, assist in gallery management, join committees or promote the gallery. While not everyone has the opportunity to participate in all these activities, we encourage our members to engage and help us grow! Read through our membership categories for more details.
