Nedra Mitchell

Nedra Mitchell is a photographer with a special interest in creating photographs with the goal of sharing her visual and emotive experience with others. Her subjects include landscapes, architecture, historic structures, people, nature, interesting places and events.

Many of her photographs are made in and around Johnson County, Kansas, the surrounding Kansas City area, as well as more extensive travels across Kansas, Missouri, the Midwest and beyond. Her photography reflects her vision, and sometimes an imagination, for subtle details in perspective, color, composition and light. She strives to encompass key moments and visual images that engage her emotionally and hopefully connect in some way to others through her lens. Her process can be described as organic, at times not as planned and orchestrated, but, always vision and purpose driven. She is, also, on a path to develop more artful and technical skills in abstract, fine art and portraiture photography and creating new products and ways to share her photographs at varying and affordable price points.
